Full pool renovation: resurface, retile, recoping, equipment
The brief
A 30-year-old Myers Park pool needed everything short of a new shell: resurface, retile, new coping, modern equipment, and saltwater conversion.
The build
Existing plaster came out. PebbleSheen Aqua Blue went in with a 25-year warranty. Old tile and coping were removed and replaced with travertine in a lighter palette to refresh the entire backyard.
Equipment was rebuilt from scratch: Hayward variable-speed pump, salt cell, heater, and Omni automation. Plumbing was inspected and partially replaced.
The deck around the pool got a deep clean and seal - no replacement needed. Total project ran 5 weeks.
